I guess I could do s/amlogic/meson/g.

I wasn't thinking of leaving it like that.

It would be nice to see the board doing something (anything) though.

I don't have a preference, I'm asking how best to make use of the
undocumented fdt code.

I think it combines pinctrl and gpio.
