Try searching the Debian archives at
https://lists.debian.org/debian-arm/.  I just got 318 hits on
Allwinner but none on a83.  I'm mildly interested in the Pi 3 but
software for it hasn't stabilized yet.  It can do 64 bit, I think, but
also run in 32 bit mode.
