I was hoping it'd give me line numbers so I could look at the source
code, or even directly the source (the difference between the stripped
kernel and the gdb kernel is 25MB).

Am I being naive about this?  As I mentioned I did not have time to
look at it - and I assumed that urtwn might be rare enough that I
should a little debugging (or at least diagnosis) on my own before
posting about it on the mailing list.
