Hello,
I added ofbus attachment code for uwe's igsfb so now we can use a high
resolution graphical console with hardware acceleration on rev. 5
sharks. I /should/ also allow us to run XFree86 with wsfb ( as an
intermediate solution until I can get a native driver to work ) but for
some reason that still seems to panic, not sure why, might be the
hardware cursor code.
Please try this kernel:
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/macallan/shark/netbsd_igsfb.bz2
It should switch to 1024x768@60Hz and if it can't find an IGS CyberPro
graphics chip it should revert to vga.
have fun
Michael
