In 2003 ARM and NEC announced MPcore architecture based on ARM11 core.
Interestingly to know these days NEC is producing a kind of MPcore product
which contains 3 ARM926 and 1 DSP. One of my friends, a skillful engineer,
has got his hands on the NEC MPcore product months ago and brought me
a good insight about it. The NEC MPcore is aimed for Car Electronics and
Mobilephone appliance market.
