I need more people to report on success or failure
tyring to install to risc server using iso image...

When I posted a message asking people
if the install went Ok Iwas expecting
some responces indicating some problems
with the 'install' script but were able
complete the installation manually....

I didn't expect a message from Matt
Thomas saying the kernel 'hung' doing
boot up! ... Remember I have metioned
in the past the server you're downloading
from IS a Risc Server 2200 running the
same kernel you're trying to install !

I have discovered in the past the
existance of two RiscServer r2200's
one called an 'express' having a 512k l2
cache, the other a 2meg l2 cache...
Both of those units boot fine
SO either Matt has a 'defective unit'
or a THIRD 'unknown type' RiscServer r2200
exists....

Now you know why I need
more downloaders,testers to
report to list.
