 I think HDFoolbox has difficulties displaying partitions on disks > 4GB, but
 it will nevertheless work correctly (worked for my 9GB disk). Alternatively,
 you can try Joanne Dow's RDPrep (rdp391.lha on Aminet).

 No idea, the last time I ran Linux on the box was around RH5.0, and the disk
 became corrupted at some point. But as I have disk space galore at the moment,
 I might give Debian another shot.
