was leaving my reply till I was going to actually install NetBSD but it appears
I am not finished exploring the world of dvdrtools/cdrtools so it might be
another week and I didn't want your assistance to go unnoticed for so long ;)

so Philip, thanks very much for your insights on setting up, I know I'll be
following along to the notes while partitioning the drive.
