Hi,

in order to verify if some old PRs which I had issued can
be closed now that 1.6 is out, I have tried to boot the 1.6
install kernel via miniroot.fs. The first kernel messages
appear, but when the devices attached to by cyberscsi II
adapter are probed, something goes wrong:

ID #0: some hard disk (sd0) - ok (as it seems)
ID #1: another hard disk (sd1) - also ok
ID #2: Toshiba 3401B CDROM drive (cd0) - not ok (see below)
ID #3: iomega ZIP (sd2) - not ok

cd0: cbiisc0: timed out [ecb 0x3f6000 (flags 0x45, dleft 20, stat 2)], <state
5, nexus 0x3f6000, phase (l 1, c 1, p 1), resid 20, msg(q 20,o 80) DMA
active> AGAIN
sd2: ..... (don't remember the exact output)
sd2: drive offline

and then many times:
cbiisc0: invalid state: 6
cbiisc0: resetting SCSI bus
cbiisc0: SCSI bus reset

I also tried a self-made miniroot.fs with the same results.
1.5.x did not show these problems. Any ideas?

Kind regards
    Ingolf
