NetBSD/amiga sends resets where resets are needed, but due to the bug
you mention in the a1200 hardware, they are not passed to the card.

However, I have a stock a1200 and everything works `just fine'. There
is a hardware patch on Aminet for those who have cards that need to be
reset.
