Color definition in grf_cv.c

Hi.

While tweaking around inside grf_cv.c, I found the place where the
colors of the CV64 console are defined. After some kernel
recompilations, I realized that the resolution of each RGB color is
apparantly not 8 bit, but 7 bits.

e.g. 0x80, 0x00, 0x80 (R, G, B) is black.

Does anybody know what the upper bit is used for?

TIA
