Hello to all on this Mailing List, i'm Saul

Please Excuse me for my bad english ;-)

Execuse Me also if this question are already posted on this list

Yesterday i have installed on my "Amiga 4000/040 Picasso IV" NetBSD V1.5 on
2.0 Gb HD on the GVP 4008 Series II Card (with Guru rom).

350 Mb for ROOT
1 GB for USER
500 Mb for LOCAL
150 Mb for VAR
150 Mb for SWAP

No ADOS Partitions in the disk.

I tell the installer to install the bootblock on the ROOT.
But at reboot the Early startup menu not showed ROOT partition.
The Install doc also tell me that this feature not work on some system.

Therefore i started again HDToolBox and i have installed bffs file system on
the RDB with ROOT dostype 0x4e425207... and miracle this work very well... i
can boot directly from early startup menu from ROOT partitions... umn... the
only drawback is that ROOT partition is mounted also on the Amiga site and
showed on the workbench screen.

Please some help now :-)

I have read the file "X11 installation notes" (acc. isn't for simple MAN :-)
and i have configured the file rc.conf, ld.so.conf, Xservers, .xserverrc and
xserverrc. But X don't work: startx command, when the desktop appears with
iconified window console and a clok the system freeze. Con anyone help me?

Its planned a driver for the superfast PowerFlyer Gold ?
its planned a driver for Concierto and Paloma add-ons cards for PIV ?
