I forgot to mention earlier: netscape communicator 4.7x in navigator mode, under
Solaris 2.6 on a 300 MHz UltraSparc, needs about 12 seconds to start up.

About what you would expect from a full minute on a (presumably)
slower architcture cpu clocked at 1/5th of the clock rate.
