my configuration ppp files are in earlier mail. I tried also with nobsdcomp

What can I do next to establish ppp conection?

- ask the other end of the link for the debug log?
- check that you have a full 8 - wire cable between your machine and your
  modem. If possible,  insert a blinkenlight box and check that hand-shake
  really works.
