Latin-1 with talk!?

Hello!!


I was just woundering if there is some way to get talk to use Latin-1?
(i.e, I wan't to be able to use the swedish special charters)

I'v been searching the web and reading some in the ml archives some,
but I haven't found any information about this! :(

Or is there any alternative to talk?  I know that ytalk exists, but
it wouldn't compile for me! (on the other hand, I haven't had all that
time to look into it either).
