I am not 100% percent sure about this, but the onle copyright notice I found is
this:

/*-
 * amix.h --
 * Internal declarations for the amix ddx interface
 *
 * Copyright (c) 1987 by the Regents of the University of California
 *
 * Permission to use, copy, modify, and distribute this
 * software and its documentation for any purpose and without
 * fee is hereby granted, provided that the above copyright
 * notice appear in all copies. The University of California
 * makes no representations about the suitability of this
 * software for any purpose. It is provided "as is" without
 * express or implied warranty.
 *
 */

So it seems to be ok to use the code. (Dont blame me if it is not - I am not a
copyright specialist. If you want to use the code, check it yourself)
There are subdirectories (work-directories) in the archive that contain
object-files whit a copyright notice in it.
As far as I can see this is not about the source, but about some developement
tools
used to build (resolver-stuff).
But better check it!

If you want that stuff tell me where to put it.

greets
    marc
