You're right. There was nothing thrown out by Bernd and me, we just merged
together things. The only thing we couldn't merge were the 16 bit Cirrus
sources. Maybe he got confused with this Commodore monitor, how was
it called, 2024?

If it only had a linear framebuffer, things had been easy.
