Hello,
I set my NetBSD 1.3a up to connect to the internet using PPPD/chat in
accordance with the instructions provided in the NetBSD-Amiga Networking FAQ.
I configured everything as specified (/etc/hosts, /etc/resolv.conf) and the
machine connects to my provider and obtains the IP address but will not
connect (telnet/ftp) to anything except for the IP numbers contained in my
resolv.conf. Not only will it will it not use the DNSs I provided but when
trying to connect to a known IP number it gives my the error:

No route to host

The netstart script I have installed is the one provided with 1.2.1. The
1.3 netstart seems to want files in the etc directory which were not provided
with the 1.3 etc archive and I am under the impression that my problem lies
deeper than the reaches of the netstart script. Given the error I described,
is there any obvious element I may have overlooked in setting up or did I
simply configure something wrong? I am new to NetBSD and would really like to
see my ppp connection up and running.

Configuration:

Amiga 2000: WB 3.1 GVP-M 060-50 w/SCSI - Quantum 3.2 GB and 32MB ram
A2091- DEC 405 MB
Picasso IV

Running:
NetBSD 1.3a

Please respond if you have any idea what is wrong here. I can provide more
information if needed.

Thanks.
