Mosaic 2.8 is ALPHA and problems with it should only go to
users@xmosaic.ncsa.uiuc.edu
or
workers@xmosaic.ncsa.uiuc.edu

Btw, why don't you look into exp*/mom and copy Mosaic to the place where
you want to use it.
