Problem installing tcsh 6.06

Hello,

I have installed tcsh 6.06 on NetBSD 1.2 (Amiga) as per its
readme file, but I can't make it become 'my' shell!

I have changed the shell in /etc/passwd and master.passwd to
/usr/local/bin/tcsh, I have also added /usr/local/bin to 
the path in my ~/.profile and ~/.cshrc files. I know there is 
something else to do but I can't remember what. (I was using 
tcsh 6.05 on NetBSD 1.1!).
