Following this is is the dmesg of another bit of new HP hardware, a
Z420 workstation, which, even if showing enough 'not configured'
lines, works fine. I *think* the CPU is E5-1660 (it doesn't show on
any system, I suspect it is an earlier ES).

I have some problems with the USB as well, but only with the mouse and
the keyboard (when attached to certain ports, I get a message that the
port has been disabled due to error).
