Subject: NetBSD-4.0 RC2 startx reboots Dell Precision 490

Hoping the problem might have gone away, I installed NetBSD/amd64 4.0
RC2 on a Dell Precision 490 which used to reboot when 'startx' was
executed when it was running a -current build from a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately it still reboots, but at least the USB keyboard seems
to operate reliably now.

I wonder if anyone has a suggestion as to what the cure might be?
It's going to be difficult for me if X won't run on it. I've
appended dmesg's output to this message.

The video card is an NVIDIA Quadro FX 550. I've tried with no
/etc/X11/XF86Config and with one which uses the 'nv' driver.
