Removed the pkgsrc/ directory, untarred the pkgsrc2006Q2 again, and 
build fluxbox (wm/), links (www/), emacs (editors/), gimp (graphics/), 
scilab (math/) and gnuplot (graphics/). All without problems. Then, 
building firefox stops after building the depedancies and returning to 
building firefox: C compiler cannot create executables
