I've got a Compaq V2000, and assume it's similar. If so, the
disk driver is in polled mode instead of using DMA. Mucho-
interrupts. -current should fix it. See archive
(http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-amd64/2006/01/02/0011.html)
for patching 3.0.

I got the boot hang when trying to run the i386 install disk,
but the amd64 worked. Doesn't work with the on-board keyboard,
though. The driver reports an error during initialization.
Removing the legacy ISA attachment and adding an ioapic
attachment didn't help. Very curious. Anyone with thoughts?

Mike
