Which kernel are you trying to boot ?

>panic: unknown MPS interrupt polarity 2

According to the ACPI spec, an interrupt polarity value of '2' is
reserved, so something is wrong here.

Does the BIOS allow you to boot over the network ?

You may need to try different kernel configurations to get it to boot,
you probably do not want to have to burn a CD each time.

I installed onto my ASUS A6K using this method.
