People seem to ask about what is and what isn't supported a lot on
this list, so I figure I will post the dmesg from my Abit AV8 running
a current kernel as of yesterday. I slightly re-configured it, but not
much. It's mostly GENERIC. If this is annoying, someone say so and
I'll stop. I thought it would be useful.

I have added a few cards, a Qlogic scsi controller, an Adaptec scsi
controller, and fxp Intel card... And I think that's it.

Notable things that aren't supported:

o Built in Via gigabit ethernet
o Built in 1394 (firewire) controller

I thought I heard rumblings about a patch for the ethernet card, I'll
have to look for that.

Also, SMBFS should work if you just add the related lines to the
kernel config. I did this to my 2.0-release kernel, which is the one I
usually use. I have had no problems with it connecting to a 2.2.8
Samba server.
