I've tried to get my XFree86 4.4.0  working for some time now but I'm
stuck.

When selecting a window, for example an xterm, the window "gets stuck"
with the mouse pointer. A window should be droped somewhere on the
screen when you release the left mouse button but mine dosen't do
that. Instead I have to click once again to get it in place.

I don't think it has anything to do with my configuration because when
running xf86cfg I'm in the same situation

My graphic card is a Radeon 9800Pro. I tried with my older Geforce2 too
but that didn't help. 


Could my XFree86 install be lacking of something?
