has anybody been able to boot -current kernels on a 21164A lately?
4.99.12 gets unaligned access. I thought it was a compile flag
(-m21164a) but I removed it, recompiled, and get the same thing.
unfortunately SRM ate my buffer so I don't have the exact message or
backtrace.
NetBSD 4.99.10 (GENERIC-$Revision: 1.310 $) #0: Thu Feb 15 22:13:15 PST 2007
agrier@boromir.poofy.goof.com:/var/obj/amd/aragorn/usr/projects/NetBSD/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/ARWEN
AlphaServer 1000A 5/400, 400MHz, s/n
is the last one that boots. (I think I unsuccessfully tried a 4.99.11
in there somewhere.)
the kernel conf is GENERIC with a hardcoded line to wire root to ld0a.
