Hmmm. Maybe the machine is just to hosed to react to a break. I would
start to set breakpoints in the pceb(4) driver and single step. I.e.
boot with flag "-d" to get to ddb(4) early in kernel start up, set a
breakpoint in the pceb(4) match and attach routines and then single
step... But I don't know how familar you are with hard core kernel
debugging.
