No.. I have some random cheap ncr card, and it works on my 164lx.  It depends on
what cards your version of SRM supports.  The only way to tell really used to
be to dig around the README's for your version of SRM on dec's ftp site.  Not
sure where that info would live now.

If someone compiled a chart, that would be nice.
