Hi all!

Is there a MySQL version known to work on Alpha? It must be stable,
because several people rely on that machine. Otherwise, can somebody
recommend another SQL database? No, Oracle/Tru64 is not an option :-)

The machine is still on 1.6.2 but will be upgraded to 2.0.2 soon.

I tried 4.1.11, since it is in pkgsrc and the Linux/x86 box is running
MySQL4 as well. It blows up with unaligned access before even starting.
Google revealed several problems with MySQL on Alpha, but no solution.
