I have a weird problem here:

When I try to update ftpd according to NetBSD-SA2004-009, the machine
reliably crashes during compile. No nothing logged, the box just boots.

At 64MB the 3000/300LX is RAM challenged and maxed out on RAM at the
same time. Swap is plenty. It went through a make world without trouble
a few months ago and apache et al. also build, so I dont's see RAM/swap
as an issue.

Any ideas? Did I overlook something?
