I wouldn't recommend the DFE580. It uses Sundance ST-201 chips which have
small onboard buffers. You can't run 2 ports at 100Mbs without lots of
receive overrun. The DFE 570 uses DEC 21143 chips, and is fine.
For 2-port adapters, I would recommend intel dual-port gig-E adapters.
They're not that expensive (I'm not sure a 10/100 would cost less),
and are very nice
