Hello everyone!

I just recently replaced my VX40 with a brand new VX42 in the
original box. It seems to have an older version of the firmware on
it, but I'm not sure which. All I get when I turn it on is a cursor
in the lower left, that is replaced by a ">>>" cursor in the upper
left when I hit <cr>. I've made a firmware upgrade disk, placed it in
the drive, and booted, but it doesn't seem to upgrade anything. If I
try to boot into the ARC BIOS, it just hangs at "Loading ARC
Firmware...". If I try to change a firmware variable, its reset to
the previous value upon reset. Has anyone seen anything like this
before?

Thanks!
