     First of all, you don't want that sweet, sweet Alpha.  You should
send it to me!  :)

     The "Full with X" option just installs all the X utilities (xterm,
xcalc, xbiff, x-etc...).  Download the xsrc-4.2.1.tar.gz package from
www.caseydoodle.com.  Scroll down to find the download links and
instructions.  You'll have to build the sources and a new kernel, but
it's all pretty straightforward.  I took me about two hours of
compile time for the X server on my 500a, and I don't have any L2
cache modules installed!

     Mel is the expert to ask about any specific questions regarding X on
the Alpha.  Thanks to him I've been using my 500a as an X-box (not
the M$ kind) for about two months now.  It's sweet!!  (Mel also
