I tried it on my

  NetBSD 1.6_STABLE (MYALPHA) #24: Wed Dec 11 20:17:37 MET 2002
  DEC 3000 - M300X, 175MHz, s/n

with 2 effects:

- The former PMAD-AA error message (last line)

    le1 at tc0 slot 1 offset 0x0: address 08:00:2b:xx:xx:xx
    le1: 32 receive buffers, 8 transmit buffers
le: Reg did not settle (to x0): x181

has gone away. But I could not test it any further because

- One of the attached scsi disks (id 3, root!) is no longer detected
by the kernel! So I had to switch back to an unpatched kernel...

Strange! -> Anything else I could test?

Markus.
