Hi,
For those building XFree86-4.2.1 servers, patches allow full
acceleration on 1.6K system, that is 'Option "ShadowFB"'- not needed.
Needless to say speed is like lightning for ati>=32MB cards as well as 
a Matrox G450 whose XFree86.0.log file is attached. Using dvd player
'ogle' as a figure of merit my 600au beats a 1.2GHZ athlon i386 in
overall color and performance.
