Hiya Folks,

i am pleased to announce that Mel and me have been able to let XFree 4.0.2
work on Alpha Personal Workstation machines. Those are SRM based 500/600
Mhz 21164a machines on a `pc style' hardware and PCI.

I've got a XFree 4.0.2 working here now on the default Elsa GLoria Synergy 
card (3D labs chipset) and Mel is working on getting XFree 4.2.0 working 
too. We'll try to get the patches in such a state that they can be 
committed to the source tree soon.
