Hi,
I've rescued from trash (among others) an alphastation 600 5/266.
When I powered it it started fine, and I've been able to install NetBSD
from CD. But after reboot from disk, the machine powered down without
apparent reasons. switching off/on, it starts for a few seconds and powers
down again.
Is there some temperature protection on these machines ?
If so, where should I look at first ? has anyone else seen this ?

The fans seems to work, at last they do the noise one could expect. But as
it won't power up with the box open, I can't check all the fans which are
in the box.
