i tried to compile clisp 2.28 on a 1.4.1/alpha machine and quickly found 
that it doesnt work out of the box. has anyone gotten it to build and 
work, before i go digging deeper into it? there are a bunch of machine 
and stsyem-specific things in lispbibl.d, but its a huge file and will 
take a lot of tinkering, it looks, to make it work.. so if anyone has 
already done the work, i'd like to know what you had to do.. 
on the same note, if anyone has gotten gcl to compile and work in 
netbsd/alpha, that'd be good news too..
