Hi
Two things. My 2 disk RAID5 (and 1 disk spare for total of 3 disk) failed
this morning with some messages that are attached and the end of this
message. The console was sitting at the db> prompt. Should I be worried? Is
there a fix?

I rebooted, and then waited for about 100 minutes while the system was at
load level >5. Obviously, the system was pretty unusable while it rebuilt
parity (but did load, and I was able to logon, just SLOW). Everything came
up fine. Parity was rebuilt. fsck marked everything clean, no problems.

Question would be. I am running this on a notoriously slow machine
(axppci33) , with not much ram (32mb). If I had a faster machine, would
rebuilding the parity be quicker? The dmesg is included also, for reference
sake at the end as well.

Thanks for your time.

Chris
