I stumbled upone Courtney's message of last month explaining how to 
configure the duplex setting of a NIC, then checked my AS200's 
ewa0_mode value and discovered it was set to AUI.  (The valid options 
are:
         Twisted-Pair
         Full Duplex, Twisted-Pair
         AUI
         BNC
         Fast
         FastFD (Full Duplex)
         Auto-Negotiate
).  After setting it to Twisted-Pair I tried ftp'ing a large file 
again using using the tlp driver.  Many of these errors still 
appeared on the console.

tlp0: receive error: MII error
tlp0: receive error: dribbling bit
tlp0: receive error: CRC error

So I've gone back to using de.
