Hi Guys,
I have a DEC 3000/300 with 64 MB RAM running
NetBSD 1.5 GENERIC.
I've just hooked up a TEKTRONIX SCSI scanner to it and get the
following output in dmesg: Last few lines..

probe(asc0:3:0): max sync rate 5.00MB/s
sd0 at scsibus0 target 3 lun 0: <DEC, RZ28B (C) DEC, 0003> SCSI2 0/direct fix
ed
sd0: 2007 MB, 3045 cyl, 16 head, 84 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 4110480 sectors
probe(asc0:6:0): async mode
scsibus0 target 6 lun 0: <TEC, 4540, V1.3> SCSI2 6/scanner fixed not configured
root on sd0a dumps on sd0b
root file system type: ffs

The interesting bit for me is the "not configured" after the scsi
scanner.
Does that mean, the device is unsupported under NetBSD 1.5?
Can it still be used via sane?
Can this be fixed by upgrading to 1.5.2?
I'm at 1.5 'cos I got the X support working via work of the
guy from Monash.. and 1.5.2 didn't seen to incorporate this work..
Should I abandon hope of using this device on the 300?

Thanks
Charles
