Are you using the standard (Generic) kernel? IIRC, and hopefully
someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but you need to stick in some patches,
and rebuild the kernel for the Mulitia PCMCIA to work right...

!
! Hi there,
!
! I am running on a Multia with two PCMCIA adapters. Every
! network card I
! try shows up but then when I try to configure it I get somehting like
! this...
!
! bash-2.05# ifconfig ne0 192.168.1.33
! ifconfig: SIOCAIFADDR: Input/output error
! bash-2.05#
!
! This is the output of `ifconfig -a`
!
! ne0: flags=8822<BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
! address: 00:a0:0c:12:f1:19
! media: Ethernet manual (none)
!
! The monitor says somehting about not being able to establish
! interupt. Uhg, I have no idea where to start debuggin a
! interupt problem
! on a multia, I looked at some networking info on the web but
! nothing has
! anything about debugging, :(
!
! Any thoughts? Useful direction?
!
! Thank you
! Ken
