Yes!
I used 4x16MB ECC FPM (i.e. 64MB,36bit) that I pulled from a scrapped
DECpc 450. Add some cache and you are up and running. I took the
cache chips out of two noname 486 boards. The thing was slow as hell,
but it _was_ my first Alpha :-)

Caveat: add an extra ventilator that blows over the CPU cooler, the
thing gets really hot.
