My brother-in-law picked up an alpha 1000a and it had this card in it?  It 
has a 36 pin d-sub type connector and it's a full length ISA card.  I dont 
think it's a DEC card but it doesn't have a mfg name on it.  I haven't seen 
the card but I can pass along any thing to look for to help identify it.
