on my alpha server 1000 I have a VGA card embedded on the motherboard
and as I said the system crashes at boot time. So my problem is not
resolved swapping the graphic board on the other PCI socket since it is
embedded.
Anyway I tried with serial console but I had no luck.
I See nothing appearing on my serial console (9600/8/N/1).
I Removed the VGA cable and keyboard and mouse cable but can't see
anything serial.

thanks

Rick
