AFAIK, the old TurboChannel framebuffers operate at a fixed resolution, color depth,
and frequency, so you won't be able to change resolutions. I could be wrong, though
-- I have limited experience w/ those framebuffers.

Subject:	changing X resolution

hi all,
Currently I have an DEC 3000 M300X running NetBSD 1.5 and the X binary that
somebody from this list has pre-compiled.

The monitor attached to this machine is a 17 inch VRT17-HA, which is supposedly
the same as VRT17-PA, which in turn is the same as Sony 17SE, presumably
a multi-sync monitor.

X on this machine/monitor currently runs at 1280x1024.

The monitor, as far as I can tell, is capable of running at 1024x768.

Now, is there any way to lower the resolution at which X runs, from 1280x1024 to
1024x768?

Thanks very much!
