 Hi,

  I have installed NetBSD/Alpha 1.5.1_ALPHA on my AlphaPC164 and
it's running great, I really like the way it's about 3 times
faster than FreeBSD on that box, but every so often it loses network
  connectivity. This is seen in the logs;

Feb 24 21:51:44 knightrider /netbsd: stray eb164 irq 0
Feb 24 21:55:13 knightrider /netbsd: stray eb164 irq 0
Feb 24 23:00:00 knightrider syslogd: restart
Feb 24 23:17:36 knightrider /netbsd: stray eb164 irq 0; stopped logging
Feb 24 23:17:40 knightrider /netbsd: ex0: device timeout
Feb 24 23:18:15 knightrider last message repeated 7 times

and so on, it seems to be saying this with a small interval.
I didn't notice it before, but it's quite curious that the NIC
actually uses IRQ 0, which seems kind of odd from my point of view,
I'm not too familiar with alpha's though, so it might be completely
  in order. *shrugs*

Please forgive me if this is a known problem, I searched the ml's and
any FAQ I could see on www.netbsd.org, but nothing really matched,
except some other systems that seemed to have suffered the same problem
for various other devices, like XP1000:s with isp(4), and I didn't
get any wiser from scanning those.

 Kind regards,
  Staffan
