Unlike old SMC EtherPower II series such as SMC-9332-BDT,
new SMC EtherPower II series such as SMC-9432-TX
doesn't use DEC tulip 2114x chip.

Instead of tulip, it uses SMC chipset (epic).

Does anyone know the epic NIC is supported by SRM console for AlphaPC 164LX 
?

If it is not supported, can you recommend me a NIC for network booting ?
